Christina Johnson chosen to present workshop at this prestigious event.
Rosario, Argentina is the location for the first Congreso Internacional de Tangoterapia, which will include talks on the history of Tango and medicine, Tango and psychology, use of Tango to improve mobility in individuals with Parkinson's Disease, and other topics.
Christina's workshop is named "Argentine Tango: The Relationship Dance, and will discuss using the principles of Argentine Tango to learn new skills in non-verbal communication and sensitivity to each other. Skills include:
- Respectful, active listening
- Learning the strengths of masculine/feminine dynamics and polarization
- Compassion and adaptability within relationships
- The beginning steps of Argentine Tango
